ADS 2012 Wraps Up in Orlando Florida ADS 2012 wrapped up last week and we’d like to thank all of you who made the trip for attending and contributing to a successful Athlete Development Summit. During the Summit we heard from a wide array of speakers including: Ty Votaw from the PGA Tour Ivan Blumberg from Athletes for Hope Kathy Martin from the WTA Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott from Vision 54 Ellyn Angelotti from the Poynter Media Institute We also continued with our Evolution of Athlete Development series and heard from: Samantha Kleinman from the NFL Joshua Gordon from Competition Not Conflict. To this end we have begun the process of collecting relevant research articles published around the world. Quarterly PAADS will update the list of articles and post those articles which are found in the public domain. Overtime, it is our intention to collate a list of relevant academic publications that will serve our membership in their career development and help illuminate the global discussion around athlete development.
